My Busy Boy!

So I thought I would put up some pictures of Payson and his messes...along with a video. He makes alot of them and I love every minute of it! Everyone tells me I will eventually get tired of it, but I waited too long for this little guy and I am going to enjoy all of his little mischievious acts! And besides, he keeps me on my toes and it's good for me!

He pulled pretty much everything out so he could climb in. He loved it!

He was trying to carry as many pens as he could! He loves them and I think he may be a writer some day!

Or maybe a computer technician!! He watched me take the back off of the tower, so of course he had to try it too!

I was cleaning the mirrors and he grabbed a paper towel and was wiping the bathtub!

This was the roll of TP that he had unraveled all around himself but crawled out before I could grab my camera!! (I promise he is wearing a diaper!)

This was his first attempt to climb the shelves in the pantry...He just turned 1, but like I said, I am enjoying every minute of it!! And finally this video explains itself!!!

Pathetic......I know

So I think this is the first time I have ever posted something without pictures. Shayne is gone at JRTC and has no cell phone service...go figure. It is killing me!! I miss him so much and really need to hear his voice. I know I should get over it and used to it because soon he will be over seas and it will probably be like that alot but...I just turned on the tv to CMT and the movie Broken Bridges was on and usually I LOVE that movie but it was right at then end where the girl sings the song Broken, which I love but this time it tore me apart. I seriously sat on the couch and bawled like a baby.....I am going to be the worst Army Wife I swear! But on a lighter note, Payson and I were in the drive thru at a Taco Express, (one of those hole in the wall places) and in the window was a tip cup and handwritten on it said "Thanks and have a nice day or nigth." LOL!! Really?! Kinda reminded me of Dwigt!!!! LOL! Oh the time needs to fly....

What A Weekend!

Shayne had a few free days this last weekend before he left for JRTC (Joint Readiness Training Center) so we took a trip to denver and went to the Zoo! I have not been to the zoo since I was 10 so it was very exciting. It was so fun to watch Payson"s expressions at some of the animals. But for some reason he was more fascinated with the wild geese than anything else! Silly Boy! But we sure had fun! After the zoo we went to a restaurant called Casa Bonita. It was a crazy place with cliff divers and gunfights, but the best part of all were the all you can eat sopapillas!!! They were sooo good! I think I ate 5 or six!!

Payson chasing a goose!
Payson and Pappa! I love this picture!

Payson was comparing his hand to a bear's paw!

This little monkey loved my guys.....but how could you not?!!

Oh ya..and I have a new found love for caramel apples.....

The Giraffes!

We took payson for a camel ride!!

So this is random I know but on Saturday we decided to drive up the mountains and we came across some really neat towns! But we saw some donkeys crossing the main street in town and it was hilarious so we had to take a picture. But the we got brave and stood next to them for another picture! And yes I promise they are real!! We Always have fun together wherever we go and I was so glad we had the opportunity to spend so much family time together before Shayne left for a few weeks!

Happy 1st Birthday Payson!!

First he got to have his very own Blueberry Muffin!!!

Then we brought out his gifts!!
Which he loved of course!!!

Shayne bought Payson one of those bike trailers for babies so after he opened his presents we went for our first bike ride with him!! He loved it. We went down a big hill and it must have tickled his tummy because he just giggled up a storm!! But he was asleep by the time we got home!! We celebrated the new year with Dane and Katie and Pam and Neil Poulsen...which is always fun. An entire night of Canasta! Payson decided he was gonna stay up to help us ring in the new year but he was soo tired! Shayne has the next few days off so we rae going to take advantage and spend lots of family time together before he leaves next week for a month....... :(

New Year's Eve Already?!

I cannot believe that it was 1 year ago today that I gave birth to my sweet baby boy! We are going to do his birthday stuff later so I will probably post that tomorrow. Anyway, Christmas was great! We went to AZ and spent a few days in Queen Creek then headed to Safford for some more fun! We did lots of things like bake goodies, cook lots of food, sing karaoke with Mom, ride quads, play a little Rockband and of course eat all of the goodies! Payson had such a fun time with his cousins and the girls loved him! Actually everyone loved him...Tab and Jody both thought they could escape with him without us noticing!!!

Payson was singing during rockband!

It snowed in Safford so of course...a snowman!!

For Shayne's birthday I planned a romantic evening..Limo included!
Thanks again Dad!!

Emily always jumps in at the last minute!!

Maddy and Aunt Jack!!!!

Emily and I made butterscotch brownies...they were gone fast!!

We went for a visit to the Adams and payson loved it!!!!!

Oh ya! I forgot to mention that I got a new wedding band for Christmas!!! It is soo beautiful, I could not even believe it!! Overall, we had a great week and Payson had a wonderful 1st Christmas! I video taped it so I did not get any pictures of him opening anything....go figure! But thanks again everyone for helping make our vacation a good one!

Thanksgiving, Moving and Christmas is on its Way!

Finally I got some time to update and yes I know it has been over a month! We left Aberdeen in November and headed back to Bozeman where we spent a few weeks including Thanksgiving. It was fun to be with everyone again. Then we packed up all of our stuff and headed to Colorado! We finally made it to our first duty station, which is Ft. Carson. We are so excited to be here and so far we like it. Thanks again Dad and Chris for helping us move in! We were so anxious to see what our new home would look like and were excited when we saw it! I will post pics of the inside as soon as it is all put together but for now you only get the outside! In the last month Payson has started to walk! And then in the last two days he has just decided to walk everywhere! We cannot even believe he will be 1 in two weeks! He has learned to say "mama" "Papa" and "Dada". It is so cute when he refers to Shayne has Papa! It just kills me! Shayne started work today and we have not yet found out what his official job title will be but we are anxiously waiting! Here are a few pics and Videos from the last little while and as soon as we are all settled in, I will blog regularly again and post more pictures!

Happy Halloween!

Last night was our ward Halloween party so we thought we would dress up Payson and go have a good time! We actually thought only the kids were supposed to dress up and then we got there and lots of adults had on costumes, so we were a little bummed since this is the first year we didn't dress up! But we decided to just get Payson a cute outfit rather than a costume this year. Payson attempted to walk the plank...he wouldn't let his feet touch the board, so we walked next to it instead! Then we made a spider out of a sucker, which Payson thoroughly enjoyed.....We even had a guy come up to us who was only supposed to give you candy if you told him a joke but he gave Payson a piece for being so cute! Anyway, it was fun and we figure since Payson is too young to Trick or Treat, we will just stay home and relax tomorrow night!
